Carla Snow hails from Canmore, Alberta, Canada, and she has been rocking the hoop since 2008. She’s worn many hats on her journey as hooper – teacher, performer, and community organizer. She has performed locally and internationally as a soloist and collaborative performer, but her heart lies in the art of teaching and creating events like HoopWest to bring people together and cultivate the continued growth and vibrance of the hoop community.

After five years of building community through classes, workshops, residencies, jams and co-creation of the Edmonton Flow Festival, Carla “retired” to the mountains where she now teaches a weekly hoop class in Canmore, and daydreams about massive rooms full of beautiful dancing hooper-beings.
