Tanya Lee is the founder/director of Body Art Motion School of transformation and co-founder/choreographer for EthoTerra performance group. For the past 20 years, Tanya has devoted herself full-time to creating her body of work through movement therapy, performance art, and lifestyle awareness. Her books, courses, and teacher training programs go beyond industry standard due to her unique perspective, broad experience, and integrated approach.

Tanya has a diverse background as a yoga therapist, tribal bellydancer, athletic trainer, nutrition consultant, and humanistic astrologer. This gives her an interesting outlook on posture, eating habits, movement patterns, stress management and how the body and mind respond to change. Tanya has published 3 books, danced on stages across North America, opened 2 movement studios, designed a 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training program, and successfully coached 1000’s of people to achieve their wellness goals. She maintains the highest level of yoga certification with the International Yoga Alliance, is a certified Critical Alignment Therapy instructor, and is one of 3 Canadians certified in Unmata Hot Pot Improvisational Tribal Style Bellydance.

Tanya has been featured as a wellness expert for various magazines, newspapers and TV shows including: Oxygen, Body Sport, Bare Essentials, Shimmy Magazine, The Herald, and Breakfast Television. She currently lives in Calgary Alberta and stays quite busy customizing routines for private clients, facilitating women’s groups, mentoring leaders, directing performing troupes, and writing new books.
