Exploring the Spiral Body (movement without props)

In this movement lab we will explore patterns of motion that leverage our body’s naturally occurring spiral structures. Our focus will be on identifying new approaches to moving safely, efficiently, and sustainably. We will explore strength in slowness as we build resiliency, awareness, and responsiveness in the body through the incorporation of variability. This class will encourage doing away with habitual movement patterns that are no longer serving us, while planting new seeds of creative possibility in our physical forms.
